Roof of The World Festival is dedicated to keeping your details confidential. Any information, we collect in relation to you, is kept strictly secured. We do not pass on/sell/exchange any of your personal details with anyone. We use this information to identify your orders and provide you with our correspondence.
IP Address
We do not keep a record of the IP addresses from which users access our site except where you have specifically provided us with information about yourself, in which case we also record your IP address for security purposes. An example of this would be when submitting a Volunteer, Performer, Exhibition, Master Classes, Film or applications forms.
Security
When purchasing from the Roof of The World festival your financial details are passed through to a secure server using the latest SSL (secure sockets layer) encryption technology. If you have any questions regarding our security policy, please contact us on roofoftheworldfestival@gmail.com
Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the event for which you purchase tickets
CONDITIONS OF SALE
Refunds are not made if you are unable to attend the event and/or change your mind
Names on purchased tickets can be changed online.
NAME ON TICKET
The name of the ticket holder should match the name on the ticket. Any divergence may result in cancellation of the ticket without refund. Photo identification will be required.
BOOKING FEE
Online purchases are subject to a $1.00 booking fee per ticket and a 1.5% credit card fee on the transaction total.
PROGRAMME CHANGES
While we make every efforts to present the programme as advertised, the programme may be subject to change without notice. No refunds will be given due to a change in programming.
YOUTH POLICY
All minors must be accompanied to the festival by an adult Guardian.
All Guardians must camp with the minors that they accompany.
If a minor is expelled, their Guardian and all other accompanying minors will also be evicted.
AGE
Ages are calculated at the date of entry to the Event, please ensure you purchase the correct ticket type for your age.
Valid proof of age is required for all 18+ ticket holders at the Event Ticket Gate.
COPYRIGHT
Sound/video recordings of performances cannot be made without prior written consent of Roof of The World. Photographs taken at the festival cannot be published without prior consent of the Roof of The World team.
Patrons may be photographed and/or filmed at the festival and that these images may be used for a variety of printed, online and broadcast promotional and/or internal purposes in relation to the festival. If customers do not wish to be photographed or filmed for these purposes, they must advise the photographer/camera operator.
PETS
No pets are allowed on the Event site.
SMOKING
Smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only.
LIABILITY
Roof of The World Festival takes no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property. Customs enter the venue at their own risk and to the maximum extent permitted by the law. Roof of The World Festival, its employees and all other persons involved in the organisation, sponsorship and promotion of the Event accept no liability for any loss, injury, claims, costs, expenses or damage which may be suffered or incurred or which may arise directly or indirectly in respect to the supply of goods or services, or the ticketholders attendance at the Event, including liability for negligence. The Roof of The World Festival staff nd all other persons involved in the organisation, sponsorship and promotion of the event accept no liability for death or personal injury howsoever caused.
CAMPING (outside of the main festival site)
Day and Evening camping tickets allow for camping on the night of the ticket date only and not the night before
Every person camping must purchase a camping ticket.
Customers without the appropriate camping tickets will not be permitted to enter the relevant camping areas
Camping areas are designated quiet zones from 23:00 pm onward. No loud music or disruptive behaviour will be tolerated.
All members of any campsite causing disruption will be evicted from the campsite, no warnings given.
Campfires are not permitted in the camping areas.
Breach of the above conditions may result in the removal of the customer, or the entire group, from the festival site.
ALCOHOL
The alcohol will not be permitted within the festival area. Bags will be searched at the festival area entry points.
Any person found involved in underage drinking or caught with alcohol within the festival area will be evicted from the site.
PARKING
Parking is permitted on Roof of The World roads at any time leading up to, during or after the festival (notes: the parking sites close to the main festival site in Kharagh have limited areas)
